In recognition of National Voter Registration Day The Harnett County Library is partnering with The Harnett County Board of Elections to host a Voter Registration Drive and Voter Photo ID Event. 

The event will take place at the Harnett County Resource Center and Library, located at 455 McKinney Parkway, Lillington, NC. The Voter Photo ID is free and no appointment is necessary.  

North Carolina voters are required to show photo ID when voting. Most voters will simply show their driver's license, but there are many other acceptable forms of photo ID. This list can be found on the State Board of Elections' website, www.ncsbe.gov/voting/voter-id.

Only eligible voters who reside in Harnett County will be able to receive a voter photo ID at the event. Voters will need to provide their name, date of birth, and the last four digits of their social security number on a request form, which will be provided.
