The Main Library, in partnership with Campbell University, is offering free tax preparation services for eligible members of the community. This initiative is part of the library’s ongoing commitment to provide essential support and resources to its patrons.

When: February 8 - April 4 (excluding March 7) from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Harnett County Resource Center and Library Training room
First come first serve. No appointments.

IRS-certified volunteers from Campbell University's School of Business, as part of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, will be offering their expertise.

The tax assistance will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis, with no appointments necessary. Volunteers will be able to assist with the most standard tax returns. To be eligible for this service, individuals must bring a photo ID (and photo ID for the spouse, if applicable), social security card or ITIN for each person on the tax return (including dependents), and all relevant tax forms.

The Harnett County Public Library and Campbell University invite the community to take advantage of this opportunity to receive expert assistance with their tax preparations, easing the burden of the tax season.
