About Us

The Kiwanis Club of Lillington started serving the Lillington community in 1975, and currently have 26 members. The club's signature project is the Kiwanis Kids Closet, supporting local schools through donations of needed clothing for their students in need. Other projects include K-Kids Servant Leadership Program at Lillington Shawtown Elementary School, Terrific Kids Awards (at Lillington Shawtown, Boone Trail, and Anderson Creek), Bring Up Grade (BUG) Award (at Lillington Shawtown, Boone Trail, and Anderson Creek), the Boys and Girls Home of NC, Harnett County 4H Clubs, Farm City Week and Scholarships, Harnett Partnership for Children, Police Athletic League with the Harnett County Sheriff's Office, Eliminate International Project (Eliminating Neonatal Tetanus from the earth through vaccinations),
Beacon Rescue Mission, Harnett Food Pantry, Harnett Health Foundation Projects, S.A.F.E. of Harnett County, Campbell University CKI Servant Leadership Program, Kiwanis District Foundation, Kiwanis International Foundation, Robin Womble Page Boys and Girls Club, Backpack Program, Community Action - Harnett, Lee, and Johnston, Philliph's Love Bears, Sleep in Heavenly Peace, Lillington Parks and Rec., Children's Blankets of Love, and more! All of this is accomplished through ONE annual fundraiser, a golf tournament, and every single people raised goes back into the community.
